Before getting these she would always get into a routine of working out doing situps several times a week but then it would fade out. We have had it since Aug. 2010 (it is now Dec 1st 2010) and I have witnessed that the abcrunch has kept her inspired and going. She works out with these almost every day because they are somehow easier than doing your normal, run of the mill, situps. She really enjoys using them. I mark off a star on the rating because I do think they are overpriced. Nothing to do with the actual performance of the abcrunch. I would recommend these if you want something that keeps you doing abworkouts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AbCrunch - I LOVE IT!!! - I try to use it every day but in reality use it 3 days a week. The thing I love about the abcrunch is that for me, I noticed that it not only works my abs but the butt, lower back and hamstrings from the smooth flow movements (kind of like reverse crunchs without having to wobble on the stability ball!!! :) I have achieved a complete flat stomach! In addition, I do not have to go to the gym, i can do my abs work out in the comfort of my own home! The Total Gym experience for me in general is that it does exactly what it says!! you may think it is all too good to be true but it is not, put in time and effort and it truly does pay off!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's the best I ever tried:) I use this product and the whole Total gym3-4 times a week and I must say it's the best gym I have ever tried. My abs are rock solid and I feel more core more stronger than ever. I can do yoga now without core strain and when I run or fast walk I feel like a locamotive. The gals like my ripples of muscel and I am 62 years old. They won't leave me alone and hang near me on the beach. Most of them are 15 to 20 years younger than me so it has helped my confidence and I feel younger than I am. I LOVE MY TOTAL GYM...ITS EVERYTHING THEY SAID IT WOULD BE...AND IT FOLDS UP SO ITS OUT OF THE WAY...YOU CAN WORK OUT HARD OR JUST TAKE IT SLOW...BUT IT REALLY MAKES YOU FEEL ALOT BETTER AFTER YOUR DONE.... THE CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PRODUCT IS REALLY TOP OF THE LINE... IM SURE THIS WILL BE AROUND FOR A LONG TIME...THANKS FOR REDUCING THE PRICE ...MADE IT AFFORDABLE AND THAT IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT... Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I love the ab crunch attachment! The truth is that I'm not much of an athlete, and I have NEVER done crunches on the floor, except under extreme duress. But the ab crunch attachment makes it so easy, I actually (and I can hardly believe I'm saying this) like it. I have noted that the attachment is difficult to set up. I would say it's "somewhat" difficult: For some reason, the holes do not line up easily with the existing holes on the bar, and it's hard to see when they have, as well. So some days I end up fiddling around longer to get the attachment on than I spend doing crunches. It's not that big a deal, but it seems like it should be easier than it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use - Yields Results I've been using the Total Gym AbCrunch in my Total Gym workout routine for about two months. In that time my waist has gone from 36" to 33". I've reduced my spare tire from 4" to 2". My goal is to eliminate my spare tire altogether, and get to a 32" waist, which I haven't seen for over twenty years. The Total Gym Ab Crunch is easy to install and remove, and easy to use. Plus you can create new exercises to work the abdomen and core. I'm very pleased to report that it has worked for me. I've had to buy new slacks for work and new shorts for summer. What better testimony is there than that?

I use the Total Gym Ab Crunch attachment nearly every day, and that, in combination with the oblique twister exercises, has got my core trimmed down and hard as a rock. I started using our XLS to enhance my yoga practice, and I am thrilled with the results. Asanas that I used to find very challenging are now so simple...it is really helping me move to the next level in my training. I definitely would buy this product again; I love it! My teenage daughter and husband use it also, and have also had major progress in the abdominal department. It is very easy to use. I plan to order the additional weight bar soon, though for regular use it probably isn't necessary for everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Women who have had kids-a must have. This is a tool that needs to be done correctly. The total gym comes with dvd's and cards. Before doing any exercise please read. In the beginning I think I was using the abcrunch wrong because I had pains like if I had strained myself. Im a Dork..after reading I realized that I should have started at a lower level and needed to position my back and shoulders according to the specs. I had to stop for two weeks then I started back up. After doing things right I can use it twice a day for 20 minutes ae time. I no longer have pains just feel the burn of it working. Note: It is important not to do one single exercise all the time..you need to constantly work out different parts of your body. Thanks.
